Building the Seventh Sin, Part III

Backbones…backbones…I began to have dreams about them. The pages were a simple sew job…the reverse side of the backbone was going to be…a challenge.

I began with mock ups to determine placement of the words and/or quotes…fully realizing that I had little if no idea of what was going to be lettered on the backbone.

Pulling from F Rogers’ Seven Deadly Sins, I decided on Latin names to mirror the pages on the other side of the backbone. Large letter form written with a home made folded pen. Those were nice and most likely would have been enough in someone else’s imagination, but not mine…
